Quantify magnitude of flooding and pollution reduction when soils have been amended with biochar at a field scale, applying 15% by volume biochar to top 12 inches of soil with planted meadow.
Biochar had no impact on soil decompaction in this study. It likely was due to the method of biochar application. This project, the biochar was added with a backhoe, but all other projects in the region used a tiller, and had much better results.
